DIEGO FERNANDEZ

Hello, Hola, Coo-Coo...
I am Diego, a curious, independent curator in the early stages of my career, with a passion for storytelling, people, and everyday life. I believe that all human study areas, culture, art and design strive to tell a story, recollect and the impact of humans passing through time. It is from this narrative standpoint that I approach every project I immerse myself in. I am a lover of film and cinema, art, anthropology, semiotics, culture, design and editorial work. My practice sits at the intersection between academia and commercial work, delving into research, writing, publishing, curatorial practice, art direction, photography, video, graphic design and illustration. My subjects of interest range mainly within design, fashion, film, queer studies and the study of mundanity and everyday life.
My Story?
Born in Mexico City in 1997.
Lived in Mexico City for many years, then in beautiful Morelia, a city in Michoacan (a Mexican state), and currently living and loving London, UK, and blah blah blah blah!
